The two common solutions of slewing bearing noise including dust noise and scar sound are as follows:
(1) Control method of dust noise
There are dust and other foreign objects in the slewing branch, and non-periodic vibration will occur. The so-called dust sound has variable vibration and noise, and may or may not.
Control method of dust noise: improve the cleaning method of the slewing bearing / turntable bearing, and strictly clean the bearing, shaft, seat hole and matching parts before installation; remove foreign objects in the lubricant; improve the sealing of the bearing; avoid using impure materials Or a plastic cage embedded with foreign objects.
(2) Control method of scar sound
If there are cracks, indentations or rust on the rolling surface of the slewing bearing, periodic vibration and noise like riveting rivets will occur. The period may be fixed but most of them have a certain corresponding relationship with the speed. The scratches will continue on the channel. Occurred, the scars appeared on the steel ball from time to time, and this noise has a certain change with the installation and lubrication conditions.
The control method of this type of noise: do not knock the bearing during installation, prevent the bearing from slanting when the bearing is assembled with the shaft and then install it in the bearing housing; prevent corrosion of the bearing during storage and shock and vibration during transportation; use grease with high viscosity .
(3) Noise caused by lubrication factors and countermeasures
Wrong choice of lubricant, insufficient lubricant, or aging induration can cause vibration and noise in the slewing bearing / turntable bearing, and this noise has no certain rules. In this case, only the appropriate lubricant is selected, the amount of lubricant is adjusted, the service life of the lubricant is extended and the replacement cycle is reasonably determined.
(4) Noise related to the host and its countermeasures
This noise is not simply caused by the bearing, so it is ineffective to find the reason from the bearing alone. It should pay full attention to the host and improve the performance of the host if necessary. The main buzzing sounds and frame resonance sounds common in motors are now described.
A Motor buzzer and its countermeasures
The axial vibration of the motor shaft will cause a large high-frequency noise-a buzzing sound, whose frequency is the same as the axial vibration frequency, and may be constant or variable. The method of preventing the buzzing sound is the same as the method of preventing axial vibration.
B bearing frame resonance sound and its countermeasures
When the aforementioned outer ring mass is caused by the axial natural vibration of the bearing frame's axial bending natural vibration, a noise called resonance sound is generated. The method of increasing preload can increase the axial natural frequency of the outer ring mass system, destroy the resonance conditions, and reduce noise
